Now that Arnold is back, is there a new Terminator film in the works?

The words “I’ll Be Back” never seemed more prescient!

After last Friday’s news (or tweet, really) that Arnie the Schwarz is feeling the acting itch, it now seems the man is interested in reprising perhaps his most famous role.

Deadline is reporting to that Universal is looking to resuscitate the metal badass, with FAST FIVE director Justin Lin as a likely candidate to direct. He’ll potentially work from a script by Universal mainstay Chris Morgan (WANTED, 47 RONIN).

Of course, all this resurrection talk could only be possible if the property hadn’t fizzled out of the hands of McG…due to bankruptcy issues with Sony And Lionsgate. Santa Monica based Hedge Fund company Pacificor then snatched the rights to the property for roughly $30 million. The production impasse resulted.

But enough of the boring legal jargon. Let’s get the pulse of the masses. Are you a). pumped to see Arnie return to the big-screen as THE TERMINATOR and b). willing to give Morgan and Lin the benefit of the doubt? Would you rather see McG continue on with what he created in SALVATION? What are your thoughts as a whole?
