There’s not a ton of details with this news but it’s definitely something to look forward to.

Media Rights Capital has recently obtained a “top secret script” from Chris Cantwell & Chris Rogers based on an idea from Joseph Kosinski. You may not be familiar with the scribes but you will soon be familiar with their work. The writing duo recently sold their series HALT & CATCH FIRE to AMC. The series set in the 1980s is a drama centering on, “the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time. Their personal and professional partnership will be challenged by greed and ego while charting the changing culture in Texas’ Silicon Prairie.” Lee Pace and Scott McNairy will star.

As for the mysterious film project, OBLIVION and TRON: LEGACY’s Kosinski will serve as director on the grounded action thriller.

I know many of you really enjoyed OBLIVION. I’m wondering if this will be another starring vehicle for Tom Cruise. Or would you guys rather see someone else? Perhaps a plot would assist us in our decision.
