Official press-kit for Season of the Witch opens up, new stills and synopsis

Relativity Media has just opened the official press-kit for Dominic Sena’s period mash-up SEASON OF THE WITCH, and not only have a few new stills been unearthed, so has a crisp synopsis for the mystical monk & knight yarn. Take a swig off the new juice below!

From the pen of Bragi F. Schut, In the supernatural thriller SEASON OF THE WITCH, Nicolas Cage stars as a 14th century Crusader who returns with his comrade (Ron Perlman) to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague. A beleaguered church, deeming sorcery the culprit of the plague, commands the two knights to transport an accused witch (Claire Foy) to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence.
