We are just a few short days away from the debut episode of WGN America’s “Salem”, and with that comes the first full trailer that puts the wickedness of Salem, Massachusetts on display. I gotta say, "Salem" looks pretty damn impressive to me. The trailer offers a glimpse at some of the bat-shit crazy shenanigans that go on in the not-so-quiet town of Salem and it looks pretty ridiculous. Go ahead, see for yourselves! The show debuts Sunday, April 20th at 10/9c on WGN America.

Episode 1 is titled ‘The Vow’ and it goes like this:

John Alden (West) returns from war to discover that the woman he left behind is now married to another man and that his hometown of Salem, Mass., is in the midst of a witch panic in the premiere of this supernatural drama.

“Salem” stars Janet Montgomery as the ruthless but vulnerable Mary Sibley, Salem’s most powerful enchantress – and Alden’s onetime love interest; Shane West as handsome, hardened war veteran John Alden; Seth Gabel as local aristocrat Cotton Mather who fans the flames of Salem’s witch hunt; Ashley Madekwe as Mary’s mysterious, carnal accomplice; Xander Berkeley as chief politician Magistrate Hale; Tamzin Merchant as the forthright Anne Hale, an artist with a perilous attraction to Alden; and Elise Eberle as the mysteriously afflicted Mercy Lewis.
