Christian Bale and Russell Crowe star in 3:10 TO YUMA together, the wonderfully titled remake of the classic 1957 western, and we’ve got the first official pictures for you below. The sight of these two shaggy-haired studs, who happen to be decent actors as well, squaring off in the wild wild west with their shotguns and their lassos is pretty exciting. Bale’s rancher is charged with bringing Crowe’s outlaw to catch a train to face trial, when a battle of wits and most likely bullets, ensues as Crowe tries to psych the f*ck out of Bale. The film is directed by James Mangold (WALK THE LINE) and is scheduled for an October 5th release.
