The promotional material seen thus far for Bryan Singer's X-MEN: APOCALYPSE hasn't won any marketing awards, to say the least. While the X-MEN franchise hasn't exactly been known for it's great posters (remember FIRST CLASS?), we do have a new poster (and its banner counterpart) that seem to get the job done. Nothing outside of the ordinary, but it's guaranteed NOT to make your eyes bleed! Take a look!

All the recent comic book talk has been focused on CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, so I'm curious to see if audiences will have room for more by the time APOCALYPSE rolls around. Judging from what I've seen in the trailers, my guess is that this X-MEN outing will not perform as well as its predecessors. Given the success of DEADPOOL, I'm thinkin' 20th Century Fox is going to be refocusing their X-Men budget down the road. We’ll see if APOCALYPSE can prove me wrong come next month!

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE opens in theaters on May 27, 2016.
