Otto Adolf Eichmann was a German Nazi and one of the men who orchestrated the Holocaust. Tasked by SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich to be the numbers guy when deporting or exterminating mass amounts of Jews to the ghettos of Nazi-occupied Eastern Europe during World War II, Eichmann was hunted down by the Mossad in 1960, and found guilty of war crimes against humanity in a court of law. In 1962, Eichmann was hung until dead.
OPERATION FINALE takes place 15 years after World War II, during a time when a team of secret agents are brought together to track down Adolf Eichmann, the infamous Nazi architect of the Holocaust.
The biographical history drama based on true events is directed by ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY scribe Chris Weitz and written by Matthew Orton (REASON OF STATE). The film stars Oscar Isaac (EX MACHINA), Melanie Laurent (INGLORIOUS BASTARDS), Hayley Lu Richardson (THE EDGE OF SEVENTEEN), Nick Kroll (PARKS AND RECREATION), Joe Alwyn (MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS), Lior Raz (FAUDA) and Sir Ben Kingsley (SEXY BEAST, GANDHI).
OPERATION FINALE is scheduled for release on September 14th.
