The Wolf of Wall Street PJ Byrne

P.J. Byrne is a really busy guy. In just sixteen years, he has racked up more than 80 acting credits, and while I know him primarily for FINAL DESTINATION 5 (where he has a bad experience while getting acupuncture), he has also appeared in such films as HORRIBLE BOSSES, THE GIFT, and THE WOLF OF WALL STREET (pictured above).

The next credit to be added to Byrne's lengthy filmography will be RAMPAGE, the video game adaptation starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Byrne has signed on to play a scientist in the film.

Directed by Brad Peyton, who previously worked with Johnson on JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND and SAN ANDREAS, RAMPAGE has been written by Ryan Engle, Adam Sztykiel, Carlton Cuse, and Ryan Condal. Johnson plays a zoologist who is the world's only hope when

three creatures — a monstrously transformed gorilla, crocodile and wolf — wreak havoc on North American cities and landmarks.

Also in the cast are Naomie Harris as a geneticist, Joe Manganiello as the leader of a private military group, and Marley Shelton as a scientist / astronaut. Jake Lacy and Breanne Hill are in there as well, but details on their roles have not been revealed.

We'll get to see how all of these characters figure into the fight against the destructive kaiju when RAMPAGE is released on April 20, 2018.
