News coming out of AFM (as it’s wont to do) has Toronto-based Cinemavault distributor Cinemavault acquiring worldwide rights to the action-thriller AT THE END OF THE DAY, about a paintball game gone bloodily awry.
The flick, formerly known as WARGAMES (as you can see from the poster to the right) has the following plot crunch: A paintball game turns deadly when three deranged ex-soldiers come unhinged during a game of catch and release with their unsuspecting victims, leading to a bloody manhunt where everyone is a target. Certainly brings to mind SEVERANCE a bit, not to mention PAINTBALL.
The flick stars Andrew Harwood Mills, Sam Cohan, Valene Kane, Neil Linpow, Daniel Vivian, Lutz Michael, Monika Mirga, Michael Schermi, Tom Stanley and Stephanie Chapman-Baker; it was helmed by Cosimo Alemà, who makes his feature debut here.
Bolero will release the film theatrically in Italy in the new year; no release date is set for any of territory yet.
