Pandemic trailer brings you to the forefront of POV horror!

We’re starting to see a glut of POV horror flicks nowadays, with most of them looking like cheap, GoPro-aided messes. (Is this a phase that’s going to replace found footage temporarily?) But PANDEMIC, which takes place during a zombie (or make that “infected human”) apocalypse, looks to be a cut above the rest. Still boasting a chaotic, video game-like mood, there appears to be some decent action and horror shenanigans going on here. At the very least the new trailer for the film telegraphs plenty of intense set pieces; as a bonus, there’s a not-too-shabby cast at play.

Directed by John Suits (THE SCRIBBLER) and starring Rachel Nichols, Alfie Allen, Pat Healy, Missi Pyle and Mekhi Phifer, PANDEMIC is set in…

the near future, where a virus of epic proportions has overtaken the planet. There are more infected than uninfected, and humanity is losing its grip on survival. Its only hope is finding a cure and keeping the infected contained. Lauren (Rachel Nichols) is a doctor, who, after the fall of New York, comes to Los Angeles to lead a team to hunt for and rescue uninfected survivors.

PANDEMIC opens in limited theaters on April 1st, then heads to VOD April 4th.
