Paramount summer flicks

JoBloJoBlo

Holy shit, you think Paramount has enough kickass movies being
released this summer? The studio only has 4 flicks on its release schedule, but
heck…what films they are! First out of the gate is SHREK 3, a film that will
apparently smash all box-office records (if SPIDEY 3 or PIRATES 3 don’t do the
same). Then, you have…THE F*CKIN’ TRANSFORMERS on July the 4th. ‘Nuff said.

The other two films aren’t as big, but I can see HOT ROD
becoming a cult classic (or sleeper hit), if the film’s star, SNL’s Andy
Samberg, is even half as funny as he is in all of those digital shorts on the
show. Also, it co-stars Isla Fisher as the cutie-pie. Works for me! Finally, the
summer ends with STARDUST, directed by Matthew Vaughn (the dude who left X-MEN
3) and based on a novel by Neil Gaiman. Oh, and did I mention that it stars
Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ian McKellen, Peter O’Toole, Ricky Gervais,
Claire Danes and a handful of other notables? Yeah, it might be a damn decent
summer to be a Paramount groupie.

As per usual, click on any of the pics below for more
info on the film, or check out the entire list of 2007
