Right on the heels of Ammon’s update that SAW IV will be shooting in Ontario beginning April 16, where he wisely said “since it’s scheduled to film in just over a week, I’d say those (casting) announcements will be hitting the net very soon,” comes the news that indeed Jigsaw may have found his first victim. According to B-D, an anonymous source has tipped them off that Scott Patterson (T.V.’s “Gilmore Girls”) “has been kidnapped from Stars Hollow, Connecticut and is being held captive by Jigsaw!” After some painful research, I found that Stars Hollow is the town in which “Gilmore Girls” takes place (sure I could’ve just assumed it, but I sweat blood for this here job).
The anonymous tip thing makes me question it a little, but then again, this actor is so random, why would it be made up? Could it be the work of some dastardly “Gilmore Girls” fan, intent on attaching actors from her favorite CW drama to all announced projects? Are we going to read next that Lauren Graham is starring in ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK? Alexis Bledel in HOSTEL III?!?!
Eh, probably not. So look for others to (presumably) join Scott Patterson in SAW IV, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and written by FEAST scribes Marcus Dunston and Patrick Melton. It’s being released Halloween weekend, so these fellas better get movin’!
