Paul Verhoeven. Halle Berry. In a sexual thriller? Bliggity bliss!

Per a Bad Ass Digest scoop, perennial hottie and real life MILFy Halle Berry (below) could very well be teaming up with the TOTAL RECALL and BASIC INSTINCT director (above) to bring about an erotic thriller called THE STUDENT. You already know where this one’s going…

Written by Wendy Diane Miller, THE STUDENT is about a 19 year old kid who takes up a summer internship… and then takes up with his boss’ wife. Things start to get dangerous from there. Halle Berry has been offered the role of the wife, a character named Miranda.

Now, it’s no secret Verhoeven has been courting the Oscar winning beauty. He and Berry have been attached to a movie called THE SURROGATE for over a year now, which now seems to be dead in favor of THE STUDENT. If Berry accepts (and let’s hope she does), it’ll add to a hefty comeback slate after a three year screen absence. She currently has FRANKIE & ALICE in theaters, DARK TIDE in post, and SHOE ADDICTS ANONYMOUS, CLOUD ATLAS and THE SKANK ROBBERS in pre-production. THE STUDENT will mark Verhoeven’s first flick since 2006’s BLACK BOOK.

Okay, let’s open her up. You like the sound of Halle getting her cougar on in THE STUDENT? Is it beneath her as an Oscar winner, or will Verhoeven make it gritty enough to be worthwhile?

Yes, two pics of the lovely Halle!
