Buckets of blood stand by for a shot.
Yup yup…another week means another encounter with the HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN. Hope you got your vest on!
During the past few weeks, we’ve seen a number of video blogs for Jason Eisner’s homage to exploitation seediness, but this time we’ve got something a little different. Instead of witnessing some amusing behind-the-scenes antics, today we have a handful of production and set stills from the flick, which hurtles toward a tentative 2011 release. Hungry? How’s a platter of vellicated human organs sound?
For the uninitiated, HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN tells the story of a vigilante homeless man (the great Rutger Hauer) who pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city’s crime boss reigns. Seeing an urban landscape filled with armed robbers, corrupt cops, abused prostitutes and even a pedophile Santa, the Hobo goes about bringing justice to the city the best way he knows how – with a 20-gauge shotgun. Mayhem ensues when he tries to make things better for the future generation. Street justice will indeed prevail.
Hauer looks to mix blood with Molly Dunsworth, Brian Downey, Gregory Smith, Rob Wells, Nick Bateman, David Brunt and John Awoods. The script comes from first timer John Davies.
Keep it locked for more HOBO treats, and by all means get cozy with the Official Site for the flick.
