Several actors have signed on to star in director Crispian Mills' action horror comedy SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ, the first film to be produced under the banner of SHAUN OF THE DEAD stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's company Stolen Picture.
When this project was announced in May, it wasn't certain whether or not Pegg and Frost would be appearing in it, but it appears they are now confirmed to have roles in the film. Joining them in the cast are Finn Cole, Michael Sheen, Asa Butterfield, and Hermione Corfield.
Cole (pictured above) will star as
Don Wallace, a wide-eyed new kid from a modest background forced to navigate a baffling new world of arcane rules and rituals at an illustrious British boarding school. The school becomes a bloody battleground when a mysterious sinkhole appears at a nearby fracking site, unleashing unspeakable horror.
Mills wrote the screenplay with Henry Fitzherbert.
SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ is sounding quite promising to me so far. I'm really looking forward to finding out exactly what sort of "unspeakable horror" the boarding school's pupils, teachers, and school matron will be facing off with.
