Pennywise’s sewer lair from the It film revealed in new concept art

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

I've been looking forward to this IT remake for a while now. Look, Tim Curry was great as Pennywise back in 1990, and he'll always have a place in my heart. But the film itself – while certainly not terrible – also isn't that great, either. This film, however, is not only allowed to be rated R. but also breathe since it's only doing half the book. It also looks overall like a vast improvement. Now, I'm not sure Bill Skarsgard's new Pennywise will out-clown Curry's classic incarnation, but he certainly looks like he's at least holding his own.

And speaking of Pennywise, Entertainment Weekly has gotten a hold of some concept that shows off the guy's humble abode. Let's take a look:

Huh. I guess it does look suitably creepy, I suppose. I mean, how else is it supposed to look, right? Let's just hope that the film stacks up to it; though, if the trailers are anything to go by, we should be in good hands.

Meanwhile, IT will stalk theaters September 8th, 2017.
