Deadline reports that writer Lindsey Beer (upcoming M.A.S.K.: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) will be making her directorial debut with a continuation of the 2019 Pet Sematary reboot that starred Jason Clarke and John Lithgow, which was based on the novel by Stephen King.
Here's a tweet she recently made talking about the announcement:
If you told 10-year-old me my directorial debut would be a @StephenKing adaption, my response would have been…
"F yea, it is." ????
Words can't capture my excitement about directing this love letter to the amazing book.
Can't wait to scare the shit out of you. https://t.co/GE3jITACv9

Unfortunately, no other confirmed details – i.e. plot, cast, if it's even a sequel or prequel – as of yet, but we'll keep you posted!
So what do you guys think? Fans of the reboot? If so, looking forward to a continuation of it? Either way, sound off below!
