After a fiery crash on the track between NASCAR rivals Cutter McCullough and JJ Sawyer results in the death of McCullough, everyone thinks they have seen the last of the racecar driver – but nothing can stop a man driven by revenge. Seventeen years later, Cutler and his car emerge from the grave to settle some scores with JJ and an ex-girlfriend.
