The Platinum Dunes boys are moving into the action realm with EXISTENCE 2.0, reports HeatVisionBlog. The flick will be an adaptation of the Image comic book written by Nick Spencer. The first issue was released last summer.

The tale centers on self-absorbed physicist Sylvester Baladine, who finds his consciousness transferred into the body of the hitman who just killed him! Things don’t seem too bad until his daughter is kidnapped by the same people who “killed” him.

So FACE/OFF with a side order of TAKEN?

Miles Millar and Alfred Gough (“Smallville”) will write the screenplay; Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will be producing with Circle of Confusion’s David Alpert. This is the first flick Platinum Dunes is making for Paramount Pictures since signing with the studio last October.
