It’s been an all out publicity binge for Lindsay Lohan and her weekend troubles and we’ve tried to stay out of it cause we know you’re all probably sick of hearing about it. But now Lindsay’s crossed the line: she’s messed with a Shirley MacLaine movie. Now that Linds has entered rehab (insert your own Amy Winehouse “Rehab” joke here) and faces potential criminal charges, her participation in the upcoming comedy POOR THINGS is unlikely. The film, which co-stars MacLaine, Rosario Dawson and Channing Tatum, was scheduled to begin filming this summer. Production sources said that the status of the film has not been changed but they’re mulling over whether to push back filming or recast the role (quite possibly the biggest no-brainer in the history of no-brainers). The situation also casts into doubt whether Lohan will be available to promote Sony’s summer horror flick I KNOW WHO KILLED ME. It’s actually all a pretty sad story when you stop and think about it. She’s only four years removed from FREAKY FRIDAY…
