Portman loves Brothers

JoBloJoBlo

Natalie Portman has signed on to co-star with Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal in the upcoming drama BROTHERS for director Jim Sheridan. The film follows a soldier sent to Afghanistan (Maguire) while his brother (Gyllenhaal) takes care (and I use finger quotes around “takes care”) of his wife (Portman) and young child. Wow, Portman as a mom? Now that’s a MILF I could get behind (both literally and figuratively). The film is based on Susanne Bier’s 2004 Danish film. Portman would play the role played by Connie Nielsen in the original. David Benioff (TROY) will write the script for Sheridan. The decidedly good looking cast will head before cameras this November for Relativity Media. Portman, recently seen looking damn sexy in Wes Anderson’s “Hotel Chevalier,” has MR. MAGORIUM’S WONDER EMPORIUM, THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL and MY BLUEBERRY NIGHTS all on the way. Filming on BROTHERS is expected to begin this November.
