Poster debuts for Puppet Master: Axis Termination

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

A few months ago, we learned that legendary genre company Full Moon plans to have a new entry in their long-running PUPPET MASTER franchise in production in early 2016.

Although the movie hasn't started filming yet, it does have a poster, which the company shared with our friends over at Shock Till You Drop. It's a poster that promises the return of fan favorite puppet characters Blade, Pinhead, Jester, and Leech Woman, as well as some villainous puppets that were introduced in the previous film, 2012's PUPPET MASTER X: AXIS RISING. They are Nazi werewolf Weremacht, female puppet Bombshell (who has guns concealed in her breasts), and the heavily armed miniature tank Blitzkrieg.

As the poster's tagline states and the AXIS TERMINATION subtitle implies, this film is the conclusion to the World War II-set trilogy storyline that began with PUPPET MASTER: AXIS OF EVIL in 2010 and continued with AXIS RISING.

AXIS RISING marked the first time that Full Moon head Charles Band directed a PUPPET MASTER movie, and he's coming back for an encore with AXIS TERMINATION.

Story details are being kept under wraps for now, all we know is that Band promises the film will be something along the lines of PUPPET MASTER III: TOULON'S REVENGE in terms of tone and bloodshed.
