Pre-production begins on The Harvesters, produced by JimmyO

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Broadcast Pictures has officially announced the commencement of pre-production on writer/director Nick Sanford's THE HARVESTERS, which is being produced by Laurie Cummings, Paul Lister, and our own JimmyO, James Oster.

Described as a haunting mystery, THE HARVESTERS will utilize old fashioned filmmaking techniques while pushing them in a bold and exciting new direction. Set to be filmed in Sanford's home state of Oklahoma, the project has the following synopsis:

On Halloween in Baileyville, Oklahoma, a journalist who prides herself on objective reporting discovers that she is trapped in the middle of a series of horrifying murders and disappearances. When the terror intensifies and a countdown begins, the people closest to Jane are put in danger and her journalistic stance on “not becoming the story” is put to the ultimate test.

A crowdfunding campaign is scheduled to launch on January 18th, giving genre fans an opportunity to help make THE HARVESTERS the best cinematic horror experience it can be.

In the meantime, Broadcast Pictures has provided the below image and teaser trailer to give an early taste of tricks and treats THE HARVESTERS will have to offer.

A Halloween-set horror movie produced by JimmyO? Sounds awesome to me!
