Predators to be scored by Sin City/Spy Kids composer John Debney

When Adrien Brody and Co. are running away from a gang of trophy-seeking Predators, it’ll be to the tune of a John Debney score. So says FilmMusicReporter. Debney has worked with producer Robert Rodriguez before, on SIN CITY, SPY KIDS and SHARK BOY AND LAVA GIRL. He’s currently working (or just finished working) on Jon Favreau’s IRON MAN 2.

I kinda wish Alan Silvestri were returning but I guess Rodriguez wanted to bring in someone he’s familiar with. Silvestri is scoring THE A-TEAM, so perhaps that’s eating up his time. Whatever the case, it’s Debney’s music we’ll be hearing when the film opens in JULY. (I wonder if Rodriguez will get in a guitar solo?)
