Only a couple weeks ago did we bring you the news that the director of DREAD, Anthony Di Blasi, was looking to follow up the Clive Barker adaptation with a flick called CASSADAGA. Well, it would appear as he’s already finished the sucker, as the film’s official Facebook page has a still with a cake that says “It’s a Wrap!”

The page also features a few stills and a promo poster from Di Blasi’s movie, which we’ve posted here for you. I’m curious about the project, as I thought DREAD was a decent picture with a few fitfully disturbing sequences and a real downer of an ending. The man showed some flair for the horrific, so let’s see what he does for an encore. (Check out our interview with Di Blasi from earlier in the year HERE.)

CASSADAGA centers on a deaf girl who attempts to contact her late sister’s spirit during a seance but instead attracts the avenging ghost of a murdered woman. The film is set in Cassadaga, Fla. — known as the psychic capital of America.

CASSADAGA stars Kelen Coleman, Kevin Alejandro, Louise Fletcher, J LaRose and Russ Blackwell. To learn more about it, hit up its Facebook page HERE.
