I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot of Emilia Clarke (pictured) around these parts in the near future, which is great news for us because not only is she a fantastic actress but she’s quite easy on the eyes as well. So we now have much more than her portrayal of Sarah Connor in TERMINATOR: GENESIS to look forward to as she'll be taking on a malevolent force in VOICE FROM THE STONE. Deadline reports that the “Game of Thrones” star is traveling from the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros to Italy for the 1950s-set psychological thriller.
She will take the lead on the adaptation of Silvio Raffo’s award-winning Italian novel La Voce Della Pietra which is about:
A nurse who helps a boy through the traumatic sudden death of his mother only to become ensnared by a malevolent force inside the family’s castle.
VOICE FROM THE STONE will see Eric D. Howell make his directorial debut from a script by Andrew Shaw. Right now they are scheduled to shoot the film this November in Italy. Dean Zanuck and Stefano Gallini-Durante are producing the Zanuck Independent and Code 39 Films production.
