Psychological thriller YellowBrickRoad comes to DVD in August

After a limited theatrical release last month, YELLOWBRICKROAD will hit DVD on August 2, courtesy of The Collective and Bloody-Disgusting Selects. It will be available on Digital VOD the same day and will hit TV VOD a month later on September 2. No word on special features, but the cover art can be seen below.

The film is described as “a return to the slow burn, character driven horror thrillers of the 1970s.” Newcomers Jesse Holland and Andy Mitton starred writing and directing duties. Cassidy Freeman (below, “SMALLVILLE”), Anessa Ramsey (THE SIGNAL), Clark Freeman, Lee Wilkof, Laura Heisler, Alex Draper, Tara Giordano, Michael Laurino and Sam Elmore star.

In the Fall of 1940, the entire population of Friar, NH abandoned their homes and walked up an ancient trail, never to be seen alive again. Their fates have remained a mystery for over 70 years, until a team of researchers discover the trailhead and attempt to track the path the doomed citizens of Friar took.
