R-rated 30 Days of Night

JoBloJoBlo

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, the new cool thing has been to release a regular trailer and then a bananas R-rated version, either with extra gore or with more profanities and titty jokes (see SUPERBAD). Well, now the upcoming vampire flick 30 DAYS OF NIGHT has been given it’s very own R-rated – or ‘Red-band’ trailer, which you can check out HERE.

I’ll be honest, I’d love to bash a Josh Hartnett film just for the reason that he’s starring in it and that he once got his mits on Scarlett Johansson, but this thing looks really, really great. David Slade had me extremely uncomfortable during his amazing breakthrough, HARD CANDY, and he did it with a teenaged girl in a luxury home. God knows what he can do with a gang of vampires in a small town that is perpetually cloaked in darkness. This thing looks like it could catapult him onto the A-list. As you probably know by now, the movie is about a little Alaskan town, that after being plunged into a month of darkness, is invaded by a bunch of vampires intent on an uninterrupted orgy of destruction.
