Rambo vs. monster!

So after a turning 63 years old and being caught with a grip of HGH vials, what do you do for an encore? You go back to the jungle and slay some goddamn mutant panthers, that’s what!

All kidding aside, the new one-sheet for RAMBO 5 has hit the wire, and while it looks a little hokey, replete with a subtitle sounding right out of an awful Lee Marvin b-picture, we’re all pretty damn pumped Sly is back doing his thing. After-all, you’d be hard pressed to deny the level of utter ass-kicking he showed in last years RAMBO resurgence.

Production is still a ways away at this point, with Mickey Rourke the only other rumored co-star attached. Since they just recently worked together on THE EXPENDABLES, it’s not out of the realm of possibility the two will share the screen once more.

The new excursion is said to focus on Rambo’s travails through the Pacific Northwest. To take it further, the story will rest on Johnny’s sordid involvement with a military experiment aimed at creating the perfect human killing machine. That is, tests to ramp up the most savage and primal of human instincts are employed to bolster those in the armed forces. As you can guess, shit goes all kinds of awry, and it’s ultimately up to Johnny Badass to rectify the situation. With arms like those, why wouldn’t he?!?

More when we know it. Stay tuned!
