Fans of Liev Schreiber's Ray Donovan rejoice – everyone's favorite well-dressed fixer is coming back to wrap up some unfinished business. Fans of the show were surprised when, following seven successful seasons, the show was abruptly canceled last year. Schreiber promised fans that somehow the character would return, and it looks like he's made good on his promise. EW is reporting that Showtime has given the green light to a feature-length movie that'll pick up where the series finale left off.

Jon Voight is expected to return as Ray's dad Mickey, as will Kerris Dorsey as his daughter Bridget. Schreiber himself will co-write the script, with showrunner David Hollander directing. As per Showtime president Gary Levine's official statement:

"When Ray Donovan went off our air after seven great seasons, we heard from so many of its loyal fans that they were not ready to say goodbye to Ray and the wonderfully dysfunctional Donovan clan… And so, for them, we are delighted that Liev and David are creating a thrilling new chapter of this iconic series."

Here's the official synopsis – but beware – there are SPOILERS for those of you who aren't caught up:

"The new film picks up where season 7 left off, with Mickey in the wind and Ray determined to find and stop him before he can cause any more carnage. It will also weave together the present-day fallout from the Donovan/Sullivan feud with Ray and Mickey's origin story from 30 years ago."

It's set to start filming later this year in New York. Will this be the end of the road for Ray? Talk back below!
