After a false alarm, the Razzie nominations were just announced this morning and leading the way with a whopping seven nominations this year was…THE LOVE GURU. In addition to Worst Movie, the film also scored Worst Acting nominations for Mike Myers, Jessica Alba, Verne Troyer and Ben Kingsley. The other nominees for Worst Movie are DISASTER MOVIE, MEET THE SPARTANS, THE HAPPENING, THE HOTTIE AND THE NOTTIE and IN THE NAME OF THE KING: A DUNGEON SIEGE TALE. What?! THE SPIRIT was snubbed?! Eddie Murphy, who won Worst Actor last year, was nominated again this year for MEET DAVE. Murphy goes up against Myers, Al Pacino (88 MINUTES), Larry the Cable Guy (WITLESS PROTECTION) and Mark Wahlberg (THE HAPPENING). Worst Actress nominees went to Alba, the entire cast of THE WOMEN, Cameron Diaz (WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS), Paris Hilton (THE HOTTIE AND THE NOTTIE) and Kate Hudson (MY BEST FRIEND’S GIRL).
