Ready to bring Bond home again? Skyfall blu-ray and DVD release date confirmed with specs!

SKYFALL, the 23rd outing for the James Bond franchise, is also the most successful.  Closing in on the $1 billion mark, the film has been both a commercial and critical hit, bringing 007 back into the limelight after a stalled reboot and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the character with style and, most importantly, awesome box office.  Director Sam Mendes crafted a Bond film that paid homage to the character’s origins, while propelling him into the next generation, effectively bridging the gap and making, in my opinion, the perfect Bond film.

The only challenge now is topping this one, which will be no small feat.  You can bring the latest Bond home in just a few short months now, as the release date has been officially announced as February 18, 2013 in the U.S. and U.K.  We also have a look at some of the box art, including a limited edition steelbook.
