I wrote about this over a year ago, but now we have a studio involved, as Fox Searchlight has acquired the rights to Jen Sacks’ novel ‘Nice’. The project is being developed as a potential starring vehicle for Reese Witherspoon. The dark comedy is about a magazine writer who accidentally kills her boyfriend. She finds a way to get rid of the body and discovers that killing boyfriends is easier than breaking up with them.
I can’t be the only one who thinks that Witherspoon is perfect for this role. Not because she’s nice, but because she is a completely believable serial killer. There is evil behind those eyes. Chicks this cute aren’t born, they’re manufactured by the CIA for spec ops undercover work.
