Repent your sins in trailer for Darren Lynn Bousman’s St. Agatha

Hot on the heels of THE NUN comes another nunsploitation horror flick from someone with a background in the SAW franchise. After James Wan introduced us to the Jigsaw Killer in the first film, the following three sequels were helmed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who took the gore and elaborate traps to new heights. Aside from REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA, I never checked out any of Bousman's post-SAW films, but I'm always down for some nunsploitation and the recently released trailer for Darren Lynn Bousman's ST. AGATHA displays a hint of a trashy good time.

The film centers on a pregnant young woman named Mary (Sabrina Kern) who seeks refuge in a convent. Although it seems like the perfect place to have a child, Mary quickly discovers a dark layer where silence is forced, ghastly secrets are masked, and every bit of will power which Mary has will be tested when she learns the sick and twisted truth of the convent and the odd people who lurk within its hall.

ST. AGATHA will hit VOD and select-theaters on February 8, 2019.
