Resurrecting the trailer

JoBloJoBlo

At the end of the trailer for RESURRECTING THE CHAMP, a Josh Hartnett voice over tells as that “A writer, like a boxer must stand alone. The truth is revealed and there’s nowhere to hide.” Really? Because to me writing is about ripping on myself and then tossing out some movie news. I didn’t realize there was standing alone, and not hiding involved. Guess I’m not really a writer then, oh well. Neither is Josh Hartnett, but he plays one in this flick, about a journalist who discovers a homeless man (Samuel L. Jackson) who claims to be a former heavyweight champion. It’s based on a true story and I gotta say, I’m loving Sam’s weird vocal inflection in this one. He could have played it straight Sam but it’s a good thing he didn’t, because no homeless person would sound like Samuel L. Jackson. If you want to see a larger version of the rather dull one-sheet, click that shit, and check out the film’s trailer BELOW.
