EVERYBODY WANTS SOME has long been touted as the spiritual sequel to DAZED AND CONFUSED as it follows the members of a baseball team and their experiences in college. This time around, filmmaker Richard Linklater will explore the era of the 80s and I'm willing to bet that, hair aside, you'll be able to identify with a situation or two! Check it out!
As per usual, Linklater has presented us with a pretty colorful cast of characters. It's hard to get a feel for everyone just from the trailer alone, but at the very least, this movie looks like it could be a lot of fun. I'm not going to be so quick as to compare it with DAZED, but these are generally the kind of movies Linklater excels at making. Well, when he's not busy following an American and French woman around a foreign city, that is.
EVERYBODY WANTS SOME opens in theaters on April 15, 2016.
