Rob Zombie looks back on a day of 3 from Hell mayhem with Richard Brake

Rob Zombie 31 Richard Brake

While we wait patiently for a trailer to give us a preview of writer/director Rob Zombie's latest movie 3 FROM HELL, which is a sequel to his films HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, Zombie has shared a picture on his Instagram account that was taken on the set more than a year ago – on April 2, 2018, to be exact. In this image, Zombie is seen standing beside cast member Richard Brake (who earned a lot of fans with his performance in Zombie's 31, pictured above), and there are people lying on the ground all around them. Zombie mentioned that this was a day of "shooting some mayhem" for the film.

The most interesting thing about this picture is the clothes being worn by the people on the ground. They all appear to be wearing police uniforms.

We know that returning CORPSES / REJECTS characters Otis (Bill Moseley), Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) will be in prison when this film catches up with them. This new picture shared by Zombie sure makes it look like Brake's character is going to be responsible for getting them out of prison.

That's not certain, though, because not only does 3 FROM HELL not have a trailer available yet, we haven't even seen an official synopsis for this movie.

It is certain that Brake, Moseley, Moon Zombie, and Haig are joined in the cast by Danny Trejo, Daniel Roebuck, Clint Howard, Austin Stoker, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Richard Edson, Emilio Rivera, David Ury, Dee Wallace, Pancho Moler, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Riehle, Kevin Jackson, Billy Blair, Steven Michael Quezada, Bill Oberst Jr., Sylvia Jefferies, Sean Whalen, Chaz Bono, Barry Bostwick, and Jossara Jinaro.

Rated R for "strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use", 3 FROM HELL is expected to be released by Lionsgate and Saban Films sometime in the "September vicinity".
