So for his currently filming LORDS OF SALEM it looks like he is going to have a film within the film called FRANKENSTEIN VS. THE WITCHFINDER. How do we know this? Well he unleashed some art for the faux film, as well as a small cast list.
He originally posted the art with this message ‘FRANKENSTEIN VS THE WITCHFINDER ! Coming Soon to a theater near you! That is if you live in Salem, MA! This amazing lost classic starring Udo Kier, Clint Howard, Daniel Roebuck and Camille Keaton is being screening at the WIQZ Freak-Fest. Don’t miss it. One night only!’ For those of you playing at home WIQZ is the radio station featured in LORDS OF SALEM.
And yesterday he revealed which roles the cast members would be portraying! Udo Keir as Matthew Hopkins aka Klaus the Reaper (the hero), Clint Howard as Carlo Caravaggio (the dwarf), Dan Roebuck as The Frankenstein Monster (the creature) and Camille Keaton as Doris Von Fux (the wench). Sounds pretty cool to me, I assume the faux film will play some kind of event in LORDS OF SALEM and I hope there is some cool footage for it too.
LORDS OF SALEM has a pretty spectacular cast including Patricia Quinn, Bruce Davidson, Christopher Knight, Ken Foree, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, John Five, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Dee Wallace, Sheri Moon Zombie, Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Barbara Crampton, Judy Geeson and Jeff Daniel Phillips.
