I know ZACK AND MIRI opened already but considering it opened rather softly, I figured I’d give it another late shout. I mean only $10 million for a Seth Rogen/Kevin Smith comedy? I just don’t get how that’s possible. Oh wait, I’m pretty sure it has something to do with The Weinstein Co. Kevin, I love you and I respect your dedication to all things Weinstein, but I think it’s time to move on. It’s easy to point to the release date as the most glaring problem but there were countless other missteps along the way. While I wasn’t expecting a $30M+ opening like Rogen had for KNOCKED UP or PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, surely ZACK AND MIRI could have opened in the $20M range. It’s a funny movie! It stars Seth Rogen!…
