Roll with your homies to Fathom’s Clueless 25th anniversary event

Has it really been 25 years since the release of director Amy Heckerling's CLUELESS? Oh my god, I am totally buggin'.

It's been announced that Fathom Events and Paramount Pictures are marking this best-ever 25th high school reunion by bringing CLUELESS back to the big screen for three days only: May 3, May 4 and May 6. For this momentous occasion that's targeted at everyone except for virgins who can't drive, CLUELESS will play in more than in more than 700 theaters nationwide. This celebration is going to be a total Baldwin. Do you know why? Well, it's because there will also be a special pre-show presentation of a deep dive into the language and slang of CLUELESS, which — what-ever! — came to define an entire era.

Originally released in July 1995, CLUELESS stars Alicia Silverstone as Cher Horowitz, whose school life, fashion sense and obsession with matchmaking all combine in a comedy loosely based on Jane Austen’s Emma – updated to late 20th century Beverly Hills. Silverstone leads a sparkling cast that includes Paul Rudd, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy, Elisa Donovan, Justin Walker, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer, Jeremy Sisto, Wallace Shawn and Dan Hedaya.

“Whether you’re seeing it for the first or the hundredth time, Clueless remains one of the funniest and most charming movies – while never losing its satirical bite or wonderful view of the world as it existed 25 years ago,” said Fathom Events VP of Studio Relations Tom Lucas. “We couldn’t be more delighted to bring it back to the big screen if Cher herself had asked us.”

CLUELESS will play on May 3 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., then again on May 4 and 6 at 7:00 p.m. both days (all local times) in more than 700 movie theaters nationwide. A full list of theater locations is, like, totally available on the Fathom Events website (theaters and participants are subject to change).

Tickets are available beginning today at www.FathomEvents.com or at participating movie theater box offices.
