Victory! It seems that Paramount has finally come to their senses and are moving forward on a sequel to ANCHORMAN.
Earlier this month during an interview with IGN, Will Ferrell said he was working on the script for STEP BROTHERS 2, but unfortunately it looked like ANCHORMAN 2 was dead. This has been the case for awhile. The sequel has been lingering with the studio not willing to reach an agreement on making the film.

Now to the surprise of many, Ferrell has shown up on Conan as Ron Burgundy to announce that the sequel for the film is on. It’s a beautiful thing and I am glad that he has announced it to the Americas.
