Ron Perlman joins the cast of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Production on FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM, the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off, kicked off this summer but casting is still an ongoing process. Per THR, everyone's favourite spawn of the devil, Ron Perlman, has now joined the cast of FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM. Details on his character aren't yet known, but THR claims that he'll be playing a goblin. Might be as close as we're going to get to HELLBOY 3.

Eddie Redmayne plays the lead role of Newt Scamander, the wizarding world’s preeminent magizoologist, and FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM will chronicle his travels as he encounters and documents a myriad of magical creatures, which ultimately leads to his penning of the Hogwarts School textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Also on board the film are Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Samantha Morton, Jenn Murray, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan, and Jon Voight. David Yates, who took the helm of the last four Harry Potter films, will return to the wizarding world to direct FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM hits theaters on November 18, 2018.
