The first teaser trailer has debuted for the non-vampire Kristen Stewart vehicle THE RUNAWAYS, which features Stewart as the band’s guitarist (and sometimes vocalist), Joan Jett and NEW MOON co-star Dakota Fanning as lead singer Cherie Currie who has the propensity to wear lingerie on stage. Hey, if Fanning is old enough to eat people, she’s old enough to do this, right?
Check out the trailer below, which features fifty seconds of hard rocking, but can’t convince me whether or not Kristen Stewart can act, or if the awful TWILIGHT scripts have just been holding her back. I guess we’ll find out. The film premieres at Sundance next month, and might expand further after that.
