Russian Eli poster

With THE ROAD still fresh in all our minds (if you haven’t seen it, you definitely should), we turn to more “lighthearted” post-apocalyptic fare like THE BOOK OF ELI. Not that it looks like a cheery experience, mind you. The situation seems pretty bleak in this future as well, but as long as we have a sword-wielding Denzel Washington to protect us, things should turn out fine… Mila Kunis is also there to provide a little ray of sunshine. (If mankind has to be repopulated, I guess there are worse people to kick it off with…)

Just a few days ago we showed you the new U.S. poster for the flick, and now we have the Russian one, courtesy of Kino-Govno. Honestly, neither are that special, but I guess they get the point across.

Also starring Gary Oldman, Ray Stevenson, Jennifer Beals, Malcolm McDowell and Michael Gambon, The Hughes Brothers’ BOOK OF ELI hits theaters on JANUARY 15th. Check out the trailer below.
