I personally am always appreciative of when a director with talent of Sam Mendes decides that it is worth their time to illuminate their directorial process whilst still in production. There’s something very exciting about knowing that what I’m watching is being crafted right now, and that this is how it is being done. Now, while Mendes doesn’t go into too much technical detail in this first video about SKYFALL, the mere fact that there even is a first video inspires much hope in me that there will soon be more to come.  And if there are, you can surely bet we’ll be running them here.  But for now, here’s what we have for you today:

Look for Bond to return to theaters on November 9th of this year.
