Entertainment Weekly has come through once again, giving us another early look at an upcoming movie that has been conspicuously quiet on the promotional front so far. This time we’re talking WRATH OF THE TITANS, the Jonathan Liebesman-directed sequel that hits theaters in the spring. The dudes at IndieWire grabbed the latest issue of EW and swiftly scanned this image of Sam Worthington’s grungy Perseus getting all worked up about some damn thing; not much to see, granted, unless you’re an ancient Greek barber.
You’ll also notice that we’re given a hint at the film’s plotline in the caption at the bottom of the pic: Perseus must journey into the underworld after his dad, Zeus (Liam Neeson), is kidnapped by Hades (Ralph Fiennes).
Zeus gets kidnapped and his kid has to save him? It’s TAKEN in reverse!
Also starring Danny Huston, Édgar Ramírez, Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell and Rosamund Pike, WRATH OF THE TITANS opens on MARCH 30, 2012.
