Ti West’s THE INNKEEPERS seems to be a bit farther along than we may have thought.

For starters, the film has already begun shooting this week, in Yankee Pedlar Inn (pictured above), a real New England hotel long suspected of actually being haunted. In addition, we now have our main cast: Sara Paxton (LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT), Kelly McGillis, Pat Healy and George Riddle have all come aboard the ghost story.

As The Hollywood Reporter has it, Paxton and Healy play the last two clerks in a hundred-year-old haunted hotel in the last days before its closure as a few final strange guests come to stay.

West has claimed the movie will be “scary-scary”, which, I guess, would be an improvement on THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL.

Derek Curl, Peter Phok, Larry Fessenden and West are producing for Dark Sky Films and Glass Eye Pix.
