The marketing team behind the SAW films is as impressive as the popularity of the franchise itself. With every film, they manage to cook up some scheme to exaggerate the film’s actual gore and violence. Their most recent ploy involves releasing a clip from SAW IV that was apparently banned from this year’s Comic Con. You know what that means, right? It’s ridiculously sick! Sure, it’s not quite as good or bold as that one scheme for either the first or second film where they were sending out press releases saying some of the scenes in the film caused it to be banned from certain theaters or something like that but still, these guys know what they’re doing.
