Am I hallucinating?!?
How many of you remember a movie called CASE 39 (READ ARROW’S REVIEW HERE)? You know, the one Christian Alvart made before PANDORUM. You know, the one that stars a pre-HANGOVER Bradley Cooper? Not ringing any bells? Why aren’t I surprised…after-all, our North West pimp Ammon G. visited the set of the flick 4 f*ckin’ years ago. FOUR!
In any event, it seems Paramount has dusted this sucker off, gave it a new one-sheet, trailer, website and release date. But before we pile that on your bloody plate, let’s rerun what the hell CASE 39 is all about, shall we:
From writer Ray Wright (PULSE, THE CRAZIES) – CASE 39 sees a social worker (Renee Zellweger, below) fight to save a girl from her abusive parents, only to discover that the situation is more dangerous than she ever expected.
Ian McShane, Jodelle Ferland, Kerr O’Malley, Callum Keith Rennie, Adrian Lester, Georgia Craig, Cynthia Stevenson and Mary Black also star in the film.
CASE 39 opens October 1st.
