Steve Rogers is a good looking man. I mean, in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER he almost got Peggy Carter in the sack only to be frozen in ice for 70 years. Once thawed, he had to battle a race of aliens while bringing a team together to fight for humanity. But, when the hell is the guy going to get laid?

When CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER debuts next year, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson‘s characters will be close, but how close? Johannson gave a little bit of info on where Black Widow’s relationship will be headed with Cap during an interview with Refinery29:

“By a series of unfortunate encounters, they will be in a situation in which their friendship becomes more intimate. They share many similarities because they live on the defensive without relying on anyone. Also, the two have been working for the government throughout their professional careers. With their friendship they begin to question what they want and what is their true identity.”

She also stated that CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER will take place two years after the events of THE AVENGERS during which time Black Widow and Rogers have been fighting as agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Could there be a budding romance on the horizon after the events of this film? We know that Emily VanCamp will play Sharon Carter, niece to Peggy Carter, and a love interest to Captain America. Could a love triangle be brewing?

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER also stars Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, and Robert Redford. It hits theaters on April 4, 2014.
